Albums I’m looking forward to this spring

2015 is looking to be an extremely promising year for music, so here are some of the records I’m most eagerly perched on the edge of my seat for in the coming months.

1. Drenge – Undertow
Release date: 6^th April
A follow-up to the rock outfit’s killer debut has been on the minds of many for months, and it is, at long last, here. All eleven tracks on the record are already available to stream ahead of its official release, and it is everything one would want it to be and more.

2. Palma Violets – Danger in the Club
Release date: 4^th May
The first single to be unveiled from the upcoming PV album is a track of the same name, sounding as if it could have been taken straight off their first LP, 180. If Danger in the Club is of a similar style to the 2013 debut, I’m certainly not complaining.

3. The Vaccines – English Graffiti
Release date: 25^th May
What can we expect from The Vaccines this time round? Well, quite an exciting record if recent teaser track Handsome is anything to go by.

4. Slaves – Are You Satisfied?
Release date: 1^st June
The Kent duo are gaining more and more recognition ahead of the release of their second album, even from the likes of Robbie Williams, no less, and what an exciting album it will be, featuring The Hunter and the thrashing angst of Feed the Mantaray. We can only hope we will, in fact, be satisfied by its entirety.

5. Wolf Alice – My Love Is Cool
Release date: 22^nd June
The four-piece’s debut album has been highly anticipated and very long-awaited, and finally is within our reach. Great things can be expected from the band as their popularity and musical grandeur continues to swell.
